Iacovos with his extensive experience in Tax matters serves as the Head of tax in Demetriou & Associates Business Advisers
Upon completing his ACCA studies, Iacovos embarked on his professional journey in 2005 by joining the tax department of DFK Demetriou Trapezaris. In 2010, he took the reins as the department's leader, showcasing his exceptional capabilities. In 2017, Iacovos and his team transitioned to Demetriou & Associates Business Advisers, further strengthening the firm's tax division.
Over the past 15 years, Iacovos has cultivated a vast range of experience and knowledge in tax matters, enabling him to provide comprehensive guidance on both personal and business taxation. His expertise extends to international taxation and indirect taxation, making him well-equipped to handle complex tax scenarios.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Iacovos actively contributes to the industry through his involvement in teaching various tax seminars, sharing his expertise and insights with fellow professionals. Furthermore, he holds the distinction of being an Advanced Approved Certified CySec Practitioner, showcasing his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the field.
Iacovos's involvement in professional organizations is evident through his membership in the Cyprus Investments Funds Association (CIFA) Tax committee. By participating in this committee, he contributes to shaping the tax landscape in relation to investment funds, underscoring his dedication to staying at the forefront of industry developments and best practices.
