Pantelis holds a degree in Mathematics, Business Management & Finance from Queen Mary, University of London. With a solid educational foundation, he has made significant contributions in the field of accountancy since joining the profession in 2009.
Throughout his career, Pantelis has amassed a diverse range of experiences, particularly in assisting start-ups and facilitating the growth of businesses. He has effectively managed the compliance requirements of regulated businesses across various sectors. Notably, he served as a VP Finance for three years and subsequently assumed the position of Group Financial Controller for an independent investment, advisory, and administration firm specializing in the Private Equity sector. Based in the City of London, this role provided him with valuable expertise in cross-border commercial transactions, including restructurings, acquisitions, joint ventures, business alliances, foreign portfolio investments, banking and finance, infrastructure and project finance, and real property transactions.
Currently, Pantelis holds the position of Head of Consulting at Demetriou & Associates Business Advisers Ltd. In this capacity, he offers expert guidance to clients on a wide range of areas, including customer strategy/sales, digitalization/AI, and organizational topics. His deep understanding of strategic thinking, business development, and mergers and acquisitions enables him to provide valuable insights and support to his clients.
Furthermore, Pantelis is a member of the Fund Administration Technical Committee of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) since 2020. His involvement in this committee showcases his commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and contributing to the advancement of the investment funds sector.
As a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), Pantelis possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in various aspects of financial management.
